New Zealand Colleges

  • New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA): They are responsible for registering and approving all courses and national qualifications offered at private training establishments and polytechnics.
  • English Language Requirements: requires all students to be fluent in using the English lnguage if they are to succeed at any New Zealand Universities. International students are being assisted by public and private institutions to reach the required level of English language competence. To ensure the approval of the Immigration Services, all students should take up IELTS or TOEFL as a requirement.
  • New Zealand Vice-Chancellor’s Committee (NZVCC): They are responsible for approving all diplomas, graduate and undergraduate programs offered by New Zealand universities.
  • Private Training Providers(PTEs): Private training establishments provide a range of courses including English language proficiency, dance, religious studies, traveland tourism and other vocational courses.
